Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Her previous roles included co-host for the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and in 2016. Bolduan has also been an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle and events such as the debates to increase the credit limit for federal government or the deliberations of the super committee. As a general assignment reporter she covered news such as the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 as well as the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. Her first assignment was with CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. She wrote feature stories as well as breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. Ealier she worked with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. She lives now in New York City together with her husband, two kids and two grandkids.
